Multi-Pitch Magic is an introductory course that equips climbers with the know-how to climb and descend from routes longer than one rope-length.
This course covers essentials like building multi-pitch anchors, taking the roles of leader and follower, rappelling from a multi-pitch route, staying safe and organized during transitions at anchors, and solving basic problems on routes.
We provide a low-risk environment for practice and review the skills you need to continue your practice after the course. This is a skills-intensive course, and we’ll focus on learning fundamentals on the ground, then practicing those skills in a low-risk vertical setting with review and feedback from our instructors.
Most of our course time will be spent working on skills with very little rock climbing, so come prepared with comfortable but capable shoes!
Falling in climbing is part and parcel of the game we play. Yet the fear of falling often holds us back from achieving new heights.
In this clinic, we’ll explore mental strategies to approach falling with mental clarity and teach safe falling techniques to ensure that you can move forward and continue to fall UP with confidence.

In this clinic, we will cover everything you need to know to get you up and down a multi-pitch climb safely and efficiently.

Light and Fast Alpinism is central to C.A.M.P.’s ethos, and our clinics draw on our expertise as makers of some of the lightest gear available to teach the skills, strategies, and tactics needed to move quickly and safely in big mountain environments.
The day begins with ground school, where we cover efficient mountain travel techniques, goal‑setting, and gear selection. We'll focus not only on what to bring but what can be left behind, so please arrive with your alpine pack for a group review.
The remainder of the day is spent in the mountains on an alpine or multipitch objective, applying these concepts under the guidance of a professional mountain guide and athlete.
