We will discuss the importance of risk mitigation, of coaching, of site selection, of defining roles, and of communication. Everyone will have the opportunity to practice skills, and to demonstrate their competency with both the systems as well as the approach. We hope that everyone will end the day being confident in their ability to safely support an adaptive athlete.

Join some Arc'teryx staff who are too old to send it but too young to retire on a casual MTB ride across some of Squamish's well-known slab trails. We'll aim for maximum high-fives, epic views and good times on 2-wheels.
Â
The day will kick-off at Perth Drive in Squamish where we'll meet & get acquainted before heading up "Mashiter" as we climb over to the famous slab trails. The ride will be approx. 2(ish) hours and well will aim to move at a conversational pace. Checking out any features that need to be scoped and ensuring everyone gets a fun ride in.
Please note: This is a group ride event and not a clinic or coaching session.
Like riding anywhere along the Sea-to-Sky corridor ensuring your tires & most importantly brakes are in good working order and you've got plenty of stoke to share is essential.
New to trail riding or looking to build confidence? This group ride offers a relaxed introduction to Squamish’s local trails. Led by supportive Arc’teryx staff, the focus is on having fun, riding together, and learning basic techniques to help you feel more comfortable and in control on blue and black trails.
We have the answers for all your questions.
