Kieran's introduction to the world was one of contrast; a youth spent between the back alleys of East Van and a seasonal migration to the shores of the Salish Sea.
His work looks to celebrate the coexistence of differences, the complex dynamics that shape the Coast Mountains—a place held in the tension between states; wet and dry, new and old, dark and light, rot and rebirth. The cycles can be brutal, but the rhythm is comforting.
Rich Wheater is a Vancouver based sports & lifestyle photographer. A longtime Sea to Sky resident, he's shot climbing as a specialty since the grunge fuelled 1990’s. He currently spends most of his time working in the North Shore mountains, and routinely pinballs between his home in East Van and Squamish.
Chris Christie is a Professional Firefighter and Freelance photographer based out of Squamish, British Columbia. His photo journey has taken him to many corners of the world but still considers the Sea to Sky his all-time favorite. The distinct 4 seasons give incredible photo opportunities in all alpine pursuits and getting off the grid is not far away. If not on a commercial shoot Chris has a tireless “Run and Gun” style to keep a natural flow to the daily adventures. He thanks all those who keep the fire stoked in capturing moments behind the lens.
Adventure and justice are the two threads that make up Angela Percival’s creative DNA. She has been the Senior Outdoor Photographer for global brand Arc’teryx for over a decade. Evident in her photography is a deep love for wild places and a genuine concern for people. Relentlessly curious, with stamina to match, she doesn’t shrink from storms or suffering: in fact, that’s what pulls her closer. National Geographic called her one of the planet’s top nine female Adventure Photographers who are pushing the limits.
